Review: These will activate the siren BEFORE the intruder actually gets in, outclassing traditional motion detectors and adding an outer shield to your home. Although I would still use motion sensors or the indoor motion camera as a backup just in case an intellitag fails. This is unlikely but if you have a intellitag far away from the hub link it can lose communication such as in a garage or outbuilding. Although the app will let you know if it fails to connect with the link in red. They give you more time to react to a potential home invasion to alert the authorities. If you use these with indoor somfy cameras they have privacy shutters which mean it only records when the camera motion sensor is triggared when the alarm is armed. Useful to check if it's a false alarm, a fire or intruder. The intellitags can be easy to install but occasionally after fitting around 30 can be difficult to connect to the hub initially. Loose covers can also cause false alarms and the sensitivity on wooden doors seems to prefer 7 to 8. Apart from that I now have 30 that have not false alarmed since I made the above adjustments. Tweaking sensitivity is the key, checking covers and the app.

Review: I had to send this back as I wasn’t able to link this to Somfy One at a distance greater than 5 meters. I managed to attach two tags to doors within 5 meters, where there was line of sight, but didn’t work elsewhere, it didn’t go around corners. I think this maybe because it uses z-wave rather than zigbee, I don’t have the same problem with Philips Hue lights which use zigbee.
