Review: Item delivered quickly. Can only be paired either the Swann Security app. Very few details provided with product and FAQs on Swann website mainly relate to other products. Unable to connect to Alex or Google with this device alone. Device has no settings where the sensitivity level etc can be changed. Possibly if this sensor was used with other Swann products (ie a camera) then it maybe Alexa compatible.

Review: I bought this specifically because it "works with alexa", the intention was to have it trigger alarms in the house on my network of alexa devices, as a result of their false advertising I wasted a whole day and the best part of 90 minutes with their customer support only to be told it is NOT compatible with alexa or smart life, it also mentions "Includes ball joint mount for flexible mounting options" its not a ball joint its a rubber bellows which doesnt seam to be able to mount the sensor at an angle when are these companies going to wake up to the need and advantages of integrating this sort of equipment with already established infrastructure such as alexa ? it does work with their own app but this means taking my phone to bed and leaving it on all night with the resulting disturbance to my sleep and yet another bit of tech on my bedside table. they have an indoor siren which I could have used as a compromise but it is currently unavailable - also - imagine my surprise to find the listing "Swann Security - WiFi Indoor Siren (5V DC Powered) - 1 Pack - Home Security – works with Alexa. No Hub needed. Works with Swann Security App" also clearly states it works with alexa - from my discussion with swann customer support I believe this is also being falsely advertised
