Review: Using this for uni to protect an expensive laptop. The laptop pouch sits off the bottom of the bag providing drop protection, has decent padding, and can fit a 13.3 inch laptop inside a rugged sleeve at a stretch, so could probably handle up to 14.5inch, wouldn't want to push it to 15 though as you'd most likely lose the drop protection and the corners poking around the top would be easily smackable as the top of the laptop pouch or the bag isnt padded. It seems water resistant to having a bucket thrown over it, but I wouldn't trust it in a proper storm. My advice is to store a waterproof cover for it inside the hidden away back-pouch, as you wouldn't want to put anything non-soft in there otherwise it'd be uncomfortable, digging into the lower left side of your back due to the way that 'hidden' velcro pouch sits. The phone pouch up top is felt, so are the laptop pouch and tablet pouches. Everything else is a plasticy material that doesn't feel bad at all or make much noise. 1. The stiching & zips & outer material Nice strong zips made from metal, teeth are metal too. The stiching is strong and smartly done, The outer material feels similar to kevlar but smoother, and has reflective water resistant flaps around the zippers made from a plasticy material, this part of the bag seems weakest material and stiching wise. I'd trust the bag in light to medium rain but if it gets heavy and I were out in it longer than 20 minutes I'd be worried. I'd suggest putting a waterproof cover in the hidden back pocket. 2. Hidden back pocket Not very useful, can hold small things, but isn't easily accessible without taking the bag off, uses velcro so doesn't feel as secure as the others, coins would fall out. Could use it for cards, passport, but I'd suggest nothing rigid or thick as stuff in there can dig into your back quite easily. Good place to put a rain cover for the bag. 3. Top Phone Pocket: Big enough for 4 or 5 flagship sized phones, felt lined, zipped, headphone hole is tight but thats probably a good thing to prevent water getting in. 4. Main Pouch Plastic lined but not a loud crinkly plastic, quite quiet and soft. With a tablet and laptop in the other pocuhes it can fit 3 ring binders tops worth of room, the bag is fairly compact and thin. It zips up tight and is very very form fitting, there isn't play for it to bulge more than half an inch tops. There is slightly more room at the bottom as the laptop and tablet pouches are raised from the bottom of the bag, meaning a chunky laptop charger, xbox controller, or a bunch of cables can fit nicely down here. 5. Laptop pouch Raised, padded with half inch soft foam, felt lined, velcro strap at the uncovered top. Seems suitable for everyday bumps in commuter traffic through crowds but wouldn't want to fall on anything important directly in there, would recommend using a hard case around a 13 inch laptop, as I use a hard case on my 13.3 inch laptop in there, and can still just about get the velctro strap down. This alleviates the issue of the top being open (allowing water in very heavy rain to get in to the laptop itself), and makes it fall-on-proof or hard-sharp knock proof, near enough. 6. Tablet pouch Much the same as the laptop pouch except with less space overall, same height though. 7. Bottom Front Pouch Has several pen/pencil holders with flexible elastic, can take 2 a5 notebooks with the pens, maybe 3 thin ones. Plastic lining like the main pouch. Zipper too. Overall thoughts: As good as it gets backpack wise for 13.3 inch machines under 50, looks very professional, is made by a reputable brand, is actually well put together, lightweight, well stitched, quite waterproof, it offers a lot of protection and can be made pretty much perfect with the addition of a rain cover and a hard case/sleeve for the laptop.

Review: Perfect size laptop bag with space for a Tablet and a Laptop. The quality of the sticking on the item is sub par and within a year I suspect will be needing to be replaced
