Review: put in, initialise disk using windows in built tool and that's about it. i have been hammering this hard drive for about 2 days now - backing up and restoring a bunch of very large (5GB per file) items from the cloud and external drives this is the third hard drive for my laptop in a week. the first broke after just 30 minutes of use. the second got so hot it throttled to around 12 mgbps transfer speeds but this, it just keeps reasonable temps and keeps going - uptime is over 40 hours with more or less constant use and working no problems. this is why it matters to buy a good brand for things like hard drives.
