Review: Works perfect for me. Another reviewer said you can't disable the mouse "traverse" hotkey, but you can.... just plug it into the USB 3.0 ports on the front and not the dedicated mouse port on the back. Problem solved. I'm using this with the Odyssey G9 at full spec resolution and refresh rate, works fantastic. I was really looking for a dual monitor KVM, but my secondary vertical monitor is simply VGA or DVI and that makes dual monitor KVMs tricky. So I just picked up this switch and added a USB 3.0 to DVI adapter, and BOOM... dual monitors in full swing. I also have a 5.1 surround system coming from my gaming rig, so I wired the L/R channel through the KVM to get 5.1 with my rig and stereo from the laptop. Solid KVM, just wish I could turn down or turn off the loud beep when switching sources.

Review: TLDR; I cannot, with my own personal experience, recommend this product. The 2020 Mac Mini M1 appears to exhibit no display issues when swapping between PC's, however, the swapping back and forth for the Windows PC display issue is a massive problem (#4 below). Also, #5 makes the KVM absolutely unusable with the issues described by #1 and #2 mentioned below. 1. The dedicated keyboard USB port does NOT work with my Corsair K100 keyboard. The keyboard lighting doesn't turn on and neither do I get any input on either of the connected PC's from the keyboard. 2. The fact that the dedicated mouse port immediately swaps to the next PC on moving the cursor to the edge of the screen makes it IMPOSSIBLE to use the Windows feature that allow you to snap application windows to the sides of your screen. Also, it appears that the mouse port has some sort of hardware acceleration or other feature built-in. The mouse is at times very fast, yet quite unresponsive. Almost like it is running through some sort of software emulation. The mouse movements on the dedicated mouse port do not provide a pleasant experience. Doesn't the documentation state that the mouse should be left at the edge of the screen for 2+seconds to engage the switch? Definitely not the experience I observed. 3. Because of the issues with 1 and 2 described above, I'm forced to use the two USB hub ports on the front of the KVM unit to plug in the mouse and keyboard, which is not a great solution from my experience; See point number 5 below for more information. 4. My monitor is a Samsung Odyssey G9. Swapping between PCs does NOT remember the resolution on for the Windows desktop that I have connected to the KVM. Windows drops down to a 640x480 resolution. Unplugging the Display Port cable and reconnecting doesn't fix the issue. The Windows OS display settings and the nVidia control panel won't even allow me to change the resolution. I have to completely restart the PC or use my monitor settings to enable/disable the PIP/PBP to get the resolution back to normal. However, I have no issues with the Mac Mini PC and the resolution; this appears to work flawlessly and so makes me want to believe the resolution issue might actually lie in the Windows 10/11 OS. This is at both 60hz and 120hz resolutions. I haven't even bothered attempting to set the monitor to the max 240hz the monitor supports due the issues I've already experienced with this KVM. The Windows PC is connected to the KVM via an nVidia RTX 2080 Ti via direct DP1.4 cable and the mac mini is connected to the KVM from one of the Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 ports via a thunderbolt 3 to DP1.4 cable. 5. Swapping between PCs using the KVM switch also randomly causes the devices connected to the USB hub on the front of the KVM to completely stop working. I have to unplug the USB cable at the rear of the KVM unit for the currently selected PC in order to get the USB ports to work again, which, on the Windows PC, causes the resolution issue to happen described in #4 above. This issue appears to happen every 4-5 switches between the two connected PCs.
