Review: Good value for money fridge freezer that's bigger in the inside than it should be with traditional thinking thanks to thinner walls with more efficient filling. Great interior light that illuminates the fridge brilliantly. Cheaper to run than our older indesit too as it's a D rating energy efficiency on new scale Vs A+++ on the older unit. Opted for this as what's the point in paying £900 and above for a more efficient model that will take 10years to recoup the difference on power saving. Shelf pitch is not adjustable and a little boring to look at inside but then again it's a fridge freezer so you won't be spending hours staring into it each day hopefully.

Review: Bought this March 2022, and by the beginning of August (after the heatwave so temperatures back to normal) the temperature started to wander, in the fridge more than the freezer. I keep a thermometer in the fridge as I store injectable drugs and they need a particular temperature range. It seems as though the motor sometimes doesn't stop working when the temperature has been reached, so randomly I can find the fridge down below zero, and minus 6 on one occasion. Very occasionally it has risen to +8. The freezer which is supposed to be minus 19 has sometimes crept up to minus 8. I contacted the help line and had a difficult conversation with a non-native speaker (neither of us could really understand the other) and eventually got a ticket raised on 8th August and passed on to a UK engineer company. The engineer came out on the 12th August, who confirmed it would need a new part. I explained urgency RE my drugs. 19th August I rang engineers again to ask what's happening, RE my drugs. They told me that as the parts would take a while they would replace the fridge freezer. 23rd August I get a text to say the part was in (so repair not replacement then?). I rang the engineers and they can't get anyone out to fit the new part until 1st Sept. I'm sure they are doing their best, but this will be 18 days with my drugs at risk. If they go off, I can't get replacements from the surgery, and they take weeks to reorder without anything to inject. I thought I was buying reliability with Samsung. Not impressed. 1st sept visit cancelled 'engineer unavailable', rebooked for 5th sept. Engineer laboured for 2.5 hours resulting in 2 failed re-gassings. Fridge-freezer declared un repairable. Samsung offered replacement/refund, but they don't have any and don't know when they will have one. A refund requires the old one to be returned before they refund and then take 10 to 14 working days. A call handler then told me that they could provide a code to give to the original supplier if I wanted to arrange a replacement through them. Abracadabra! Replacement arrived in 3 days. Text from Samsung today saying a replacement still not available. Needless to say no response to the complaint I raised with Samsung a week ago.
