Easy to clean It is recommended to use filtered water in Opti-myst fires. If tap water is used, a build up of limescale can seriously hinder the production of flame and smoke effect. However, if a build up of limescale does occur, the plastic materials used have a highly polished finish to ensure easier cleaning and removal of limescale. Review: First I received it day early so really pleased, and then had a job to get the mist effect going but with tremendous help I got from John at Surplies Trade supplies. The fire soon sprang into life and it certainly does look like a real fire. I certainly would recommend buying one of these opti myst fires.

Review: So far not working as we expected and we are disappointed. However, the engineer is coming on4th December, and hopefully will get it operating as it should be
