Review: This is the cheapest of cheap when it comes to remington. Looks a nice set in the pictures but in real life it's cheap looking. I've had remington for 20+ years and these are by far the worst. It says variable temperature for the straighteners, it's either on or off you can't change the temp settings. As a gift set you'd think it would come with some sort of heat mat for the straighteners but it doesn't so not the safest option of gift sets. But then I suppose you get what you pay for
