Review: Had high hopes for this having been a Plantronics user for a very long time and considering them to be a quality company. Pros: The device build quality is fantastic and it connects quickly and efficiently to two devices simultaneously. Battery life is superb and range of operation is plenty for most people. Cons: The basic function of any headset is to deliver two way audio at a quality that is at least audible to both parties. I returned the first one of these because I was convinced I had a faulty copy. I couldn't believe that Plantronics would make something with such totally diabolical audio quality. The replacement did sound a tiny bit better so I persevered with it. However, after several very embarrassing cut-offs on the phone and audio which couldn't be heard during online calls, I contacted Plantronics. They told me that it won't work properly on a windows PC without their bluetooth dongle BT300. This was not stated anywhere on the advert and it is sold as compatible with phone & computer. Now feeling desperate and not wanting to return a second time, i foolishly threw more money at it and bought a BT300 Bluetooth dongle. Result was notably better audio with music files but still very poor audio on calls as well as slower connection time to PC, shorter range to PC, frequent BT disconnect to my iPhone and no better call quality on online conferencing. I still wanted to keep it and was prepared to just use a wired headset at my desk but the constant swapping causing missed calls and the repeat connectivity dropout to my phone simply make this product not fit for purpose (not a phrase I normally use). I'm now returning the second copy for a refund and I'm stuck with a worthless bluetooth dongle. I will think very long and hard before buying Plantronics again. If you simply want this as a mobile phone headset then you might get away with it especially if using an Android device on which it sounded better?? If you want to swap between phone and computer and use it for online conferencing then forget it. I'm adding a follow-up to this. First of all, thank you Amazon for a full no quibble refund. I've now replaced the Plantronics Voyager Legend with another headset branded as Beshoop and sold on Amazon. This was around half the price and works perfectly well on my phone and on TEAMS. It is no match for the fabulous way that the Plantronics headset connected to two devices simultaneously and reliably and it's not quite the same standard of build quality (although close) but I can hear and be heard with this. I felt I needed to follow-up with this to dispel any ideas that I was fussy about audio quality. I'm totally happy with very average audio but if the device is a headset, then you at least need to be able to hear the person at the other end and they need to hear you. It's as simple as that, the Plantronics headset fell short of achieving the most basic need when connected to my laptop on MS TEAMS. Hope this helps others to make the right choice.
