Review: I am absolutely happy with my purchase of this 27" 4K Philips monitor, At first I was worried because of what has been said in the other reviews about PC use at 144Hz with HDR and they said it looks washed out with the brightness and colors, When I turned on HDR on Windows it did look bright and washed out but I had a look in the settings of the HDR on the monitor menu and noticed it was set on "HDR Game" I changed it to DisplayHDR 600 and the Issue with washed out colors went away and now It looks amazing So have no worry about it and buy this monitor you will not be disappointed, No idea why it defaults to HDR Game instead of DisplayHDR 600 Settings, Soon as I can I will be buying another one So Ill have a 3 monitor Setup.

Review: The media could not be loaded. Stay away from this monitor, it sounds too good to be true because it is. I bought this during the Prime Day sale and got it for £495 - a bargain for a 4k hdmi 2.1 monitor. I had an issue with the first monitor, got a replacement, and have had issues with the second monitor too, so I have returned it for a refund. The major issues I had: 1. Screen rip when using hdmi 2.1 (see pic, image of monitor for MW2 on PS5). This is basics... The main target for this monitor is console gamers who want high refresh rates and 4k quality. It seems that this monitor can't do this properly. I have seen other users noting similar issues. 2. There is some issue with the DisplayPort ports. I can't get a real explanation from Philips technical support as to why the ports don't work as they should. I have two monitors currently set up in a daisy-chain using DisplayPort - this monitor does not work as the last monitor in my setup, but it should. I don't think Philips are following the DisplayPort standard correctly as they are not a member of VESA (the body writing the DP spec), and the product links from the DisplayPort org website all go nowhere. Video here shows the me time the monitor displayed an image when connected in the daisy chain - all other times no image showed at all. There are reviews out there from the likes of Tom's Hardware giving this monitor 5 stars. I can only think that there were some manufacturing issues with a run of these monitors and that perhaps review samples are cherry picked. I only paid £495 and I've sent it back. To get anything close to equivalent is currently £700, yet I feel more comfortable paying the extra, than risking keeping this poorly made product. If you're still convinced you want to try it, maybe buy from somewhere other than Amazon (to get a newly manufactured product). Or, wait until an Amazon sale; I am convinced they have a stock of these defective products, so they will drastically reduce the price for their big sales days to shift them. I can't really fault Amazon support for sorting the refund, although getting Hermes to actually collect has taken 3 tries.
