Review: My first 'gaming' keyboard. As a person who has been using PCs for many many years, I've been fighting the decline of the keyboard by hording older mechanical feel keyboards from the early 2000's. I hate membrane keyboards, I hate 'chiclets', and miss the satisfaction obtained from taking all your anger out by creating a storm of clicks and clacks when getting stuff typed. I had considered investing in higher priced items, but worried that I would end up with just another keyboard, so took my first steps with this one from MARVO. Price - Delivered to me for just under £23.00. The keyboard weighs a ton, is solidly built, with metal back plate and no unfinished parts. Even the rubber feet are squarely stuck on. Noise and feel - Fab. The 'Blue' MX Cherry clones are a significant improvement on my ageing keyboards. Lighting - Nice and clear. Strong red on the left, with the rainbow pallet transitioning across orange, to green, to blue to violet on the right. Most budget rainbow lit keyboards are a colour per row so this I found very pleasant on the eye. Some different modes, and some programmable options. (I'll never use them - lights are so I can see in the dark - I don't need a desktop disco.) Value - Did I mention the keyboard was less than £23? Ok. So I've only had it a week, however, the experience is very good so far. Some 'negative' items. I bought the UK layout. Yes, it is. However, the keycaps are the orginal US ANSI layout with some white printing over them. Not a huge issue, but feels unfinished in the absence of the character being transparent on the keycap which would match the rest. At this price point - not an issue. It's an ANSI layout, so the enter and some other keys aren't quite the same as their ISO cousins, but if you are an old time keyboard user on multiple systems / formats, you'll adapt really quick. TenKeyLess may not be for everyone. My other half likes the keyboards look and feel, but demands a numberpad. So the search for her goes on, and certainly wont be filled for the price I paid for this. Do you want a 'my first mechanical and light up keyboard'? If so buy this. Did I like it enough to go and buy replacement keycaps almost immediately? Yes. But I like to tinker, it was not because of the quality of the original caps - they are fine.

Review: Different keyboard than what's listed. It's not uk layout its us even though the listing says uk layout and the box, different windows key too the box and listing aswell as a small left shift rather than the large one on the listing
