Review: I used this to replace triple-plug active extension I had previously, which would randomly lose connectivity sometimes. The original set up was that triple extension run over a ceiling down a wall to a Keystone wall plate with 3 USB plugs(along with my headphone jacks). Connectivity wasn't always assured, so I coupled it with a USB 2-to-1 power enhancer cable - not much improvement. I then abandoned the triple plug for this single plug, which I then attached an AmazonBasics 4-Port USB 2.0 Ultra-Mini Hub, and connected the 3 plugs to it that way. Much better reliability. Running my Saitek keyboard, and GAMDIAS Erebos mouse - plus a run off to a second powered-USB hub that I have my Logitech G930's plugged into as well as some USB LED accent lighting. all runs great.
