Review: My laptop has just decided to die, which i use for work, so for an emergency solution i ordered the Logitech Combo to use with my iPad Air 5, I must say i'm quite impressed, its been said you can't use this on your lap, well i'm typing this on the Combo on my lap in the lounge. Yes it does increase the weight of your iPad, but for shear flexibility and considerably less in price than the Apple Keyboard, I think this really good value for money. I've now been using this at customers sites for the last week to write service reports, the one big benefit of this is, the customer can sign my report using the Apple Pencil, completely eliminating paperwork. Highly recommend,

Review: I've had Logitech iPad keyboards before and they work really well. For typing, this one works as well but it has a few major set backs: 1. the fingerprint sensor on the iPad Air 4th Gen (for which this is specifically designed for) cannot work, it is covered in silicon. This is bonkers and an immediate deal breaker!?!? you either remove any kind of security or have to put in the 6 digit numerical code to unlock the iPad (like back in 2016!!). even the £30 keyboards have a hole there for you to use your fingerprint... that button was one of the main innovations/differentiation of the iPad air 4th gen (remove home button, move fingerprint to power) and Logitech killed it with their £100 monster keyboard 2. to the monster keyboard point, it weight a tone. I have a Macbook Air (2018) and it weighs less than the iPad+Folio. It is so heavy that you get the impression that if it falls it'll break. makes it a deal breaker for me as it removes any advantage of bringing this instead of a laptop Logitech rarely fails but this is one in my view. Pity because I bought the iPad Air 4th gen expecting to buy a cheaper keyboard from Logitech (cheaper than the Apple one) but this wont cut it
