Review: It's great, does exactly what it says it will do and those folk moaning about the blue lights on the control board must have mega sensitive eyes because they don't bother me, I quite like them actually. The fan is in my bedroom and so my eyes are closed ready to sleep, the smart and night time settings are great and what a bonus to be able control the swing via the smart and easy to use app. Easy assembly, possibly a bit on the dear side, however it's more than paid for itself during these recent heatwaves..Get one, go on ready for next summer, or just get your dog to wags its tail in your face causing a lovely breeze..

Review: I bought this due to the Quiet Mark rating it has been awarded, assuming it would be ultra quiet and suitable for sleeping. The four-speed ratings did concern me, but I assumed the night mode, normal and smart made might adjust the speeds further. They do not, and the four speeds are absolutely not enough to get this down to a quiet enough level for me to sleep. I can not fathom how this could ever be awarded a Quiet Mark, and I suspect that it is, in fact, the sort of award you pay for, and they haven’t tested that many fans. While not terribly accurate, the sound recorder on my phone has this at an average 30db on the lowest setting about 1 meter or so from my bed with a minimum reading of 23dB over 30 seconds. The cheapish Ansio I have with 8-speed levels has an average 23.6dB with a low reading of 23.6. Obviously, at the low setting for the Ansio, the volume of air it pushes is low, but it is just enough for a hot summer night. Just so I am not overly negative, the actual fan is pretty good, build quality is excellent, and it was easier to put together than other fans. I had no issues getting the app to work, but without granular control of speeds, it is worthless. The noise it does make is quite low pitched and consistent, and it is not very loud, so some people may appreciate the white noise. I do not, certainly for a fan costing over £100. I was tempted to keep this for an office fan, because I do quite like it for that, but it is just way to expensive for that purpose. Also, as others have mentioned the blue LED lights are permanently on, so not great for sleeping again.
