Review: Excellent projector with very high light output (5000 lumens). It will run 5000 hours with the regular light output, and 10000 hours in ecomode (with approx 4000 lumens). My projector is now used on a 200" projection screen, and it can project up to 300". It has a 1920 x 1200 pixel output, which can be used for presentations and movies, or whatever else you might want to project ( pictures, games, etc). Unfortunately it does not support 3D movies, but other than that, it has a very clear and good looking output. It is important to remember that the larger the projection area is, the lower the amount of light output pr unit area, so, a 300" projected image will be 1/9 the light per unit area compared to a 100" projected image(as the 300" is nine times larger than the 100" (area wise - remember the 300" is a diagonal measurement, in 1 dimension, whereas area is 2-dimensional)). The projector has the possibility to add a wifi module (so it could act similarly as a epson 2255u). The projector also have epson software to have up to 50 simultaneous screens shown (in a training room situation, where the screen of every students screen is shown for quick response). The rating given (5 stars): * Pro's: + excellent light output (5000 lumens) + clarity of the pixels even at 200", + ability to handle presentations, + ability to handle movies + ability to handle games (the input lag wasn't noticable for me, but others might be more sensitive). * Con's: - missing 3D output, - lens can calibrate when a scene is shifting, which can give some sound - this is usually not a problem for movies - but for some applications it might be annoying (if there are many high intensity scene shifts in succession, it can feel like it's readjusting all the time).
