Review: Decent speakers, my set up is a denon soundbar 716 sound bar, *2 speakers. I have to admit, going from a wired System to a Wireless you notice the difference straight away. The sounds from Wired is incomparable, I don’t care what anyone says. Wireless is good as you don’t have all the wires so you have freedom but sound no way. You must be a technomaniac or or oblivious to say wireless is better than wired. I have noticed some latency very small but I’m critical like this. You never get this with wired but as a conclusion. I am happy with the set up. Need to order a subwoofer to complete the set up, but it’s costing serious money to get a wireless system. Compared to other wireless systems? Not going to mention any Brands Denon Is highly superior, not just saying that because I have it. It’s just a fact. I’ve heard the difference and yeah, other brands, sorry you have a lot of catching up to do. It’s like a 5 year old against Ussain bolt, no contest. You’re doing well but believe me, you are not even close to the game. Nothing against you but I’ve heard the expensive £500+ but still it’s tinny and crap. If you think otherwise you must be delusional, the Denon is well far superior. The denon has a decent weight to speakers, this lets you know there are quality components inside. I’ve seen these light weight brands, believe me. They are light weight because they’re hollow crap. Don’t sell it as light weight before functionality. You’ll notice this straight away when you turn the bass up. Light means well rubbish ! If I can mark the Denon out of 10, it would be 6.5 or 7. It’s not quiet there but thereabouts. Yes I have it and it’s cost me close to £1200 pounds and I don’t have a subwoofer yet. It’s good and no complaints. My Cars B&O system is far superior to the denon though. B&O 600W mind blowing The plus points are, no wires so distance in a room is excellent. The bass without subwoofer is acceptable, compared to others? Honestly there is no comparison. You have to hear differences. You will notice after 15 seconds & think is this a joke ? Denon good job but you need to try harder mate

Review: When you finally get this thing set up, the sound is great. But you need a lot of patience and some technical knowledge to get there. My 3 reasons for regretting buying it: 1. The Bluetooth is the wrong type and is not fit for purpose 2. It doesn't work "out of the box" 3. You need to be an expert if you want to use it with YouTube etc At £450, I think I can reasonably expect all of the above to be just fine. They are not. Bluetooth has been around for about 20 years, and I have never, ever had an issue. I didn't even know there were different types. However, the Bluetooth on the denon is the wrong type and suffers from interference and drop-outs. It is not a "fault" or a quality problem, it is just the wrong spec. I finally resolved it by using a fixed AUX cable and abandoning the Bluetooth altogether. Hey - we're back to the 90s! At this price, it should work out of the box. It doesn't - you have to wait for software updates, awkward configurations and spend time on forums and expert sites. It is helpful if you are a geek and an electrical engineer. As I am only a bit geeky and a mechanical engineer, it took me all weekend to get it set up. YouTube etc. Presumably, the people at denon look down on YouTube as having sound quality unworthy of their system. The under-developed and clunky heos app won't connect to it. You need some tech knowledge of a smart phone to trick it into working. I am sticking with it - I could send it back, but after all the effort and hard work I just can't be bothered. This has been my first experience with denon and I will be very surprised if it is not my last.
