Review: This is, easily, the noisiest kettle I've ever used/bought. Not quite sure why as the element is covered so thought this would dampen the sound but, no, when waiting for a brew you have to sit through a rendition of the Saturn 5 rocket ???? It's also not that rapid, my old Russell Hobbs was easily 50% quicker but was not available at purchase. Couldn't be bothered sending it back but if you're looking for a quick and quiet cuppa, look away!

Review: Worked well for a while, but started leaking recently from the plastic window, we had it around a year. Dangerous, as water pools up around the base which has the electric chord. If they made things last longer would be happy to pay more and reduce all this waste, it's the 3 rd kettle in 2 years, a variety of brands that all failed in the end.
