Review: Delivered safely and promptly using Amazon Prime. Good quality ethernet long lead with substantial sheath and snag-free connectors so that the lead will not pull clear without being unclipped. Bought 10 metre lead to try out Sony internet-ready TV and separate bluray DVD player - without investing £60+ on a Sony approved wifi adaptor, which might not work if too far from the wifi router - if you read the reveiews on Amazon where some people needed to move the router into the same room! I just ran out the lead from the wifi router upstairs and connected to the Sony TV and DVD in turn (in the kitchen) - each worked first time to show free services without any set-up. So far Sony have BBC iplayer and things like U-Tube as free offerings together with some subscripton services like Lovefilms. Bound to be more in the future so will now find a permanent route for the lead, which looks pretty robust - under the floor boards for me but could easily be clipped to surface. Definitely will not need to buy an expensive Sony wifi adaptor for full internet TV and DVD. At £4.01 for a quality 10 metre ethernet lead made by Belkin, this is an absolute bargain.

Review: It is difficult to get too excited about this purchase but I needed a cable to run from my modem/router to the laptop to avoid having WiFi switched on. I bought this on a value for money basis as reviews for other, cheaper, cables indicated they were not robust. This cable is now laid around the outside of the room and is moved when the laptop is used and re-stored. It is a snagless cable but it does feel a bit too rigid ( in that constant "twisting" of the cable, especially near the plugs may cause a problem ) but it is only a feel and I have nothing more to back this assertion up and may just be the protective outside not the actual wiring inside. Overall .. not the cheapest on the market but I feel a good purchase on a cost-benefit basis. Would have got a 5/5 if it was a little cheaper.
