Review: If you have a newer PC case that's housing an older or entry level Motherboard that doesn't have a USB 3.0 Header, you can still make use of the case mounted sockets at USB 2.0 speeds. This Adapter plugs into the Motherboards small USB 2.0 headers and outputs to a female USB 3.0 header. You can then plug the cases USB 3.0 cables into this. Again, you WON'T get USB 3.0 speed from the ports but you can use them at full USB 2.0 speeds.
