Review: I’ve probably bought more food processors than kettles in my lifetime and this time decided I would invest in a decent one. Although very early doors this one doesn’t disappoint. As another reviewer commented, huge and heavy box - I had to help the tiny delivery driver get it out of the van and into the house. Incredibly well packed, lots and lots of smaller boxes with the different bits and pieces. You will need a good amount of space to put it all - I keep my main processor unit out on the worktop as I’m more likely to do things by hand for smaller jobs if the machine is tucked away. The base unit for this is heavy and I really wouldn’t be wanting to lug it out of a cupboard or off a shelf too regularly. But the rest of the bits and pieces need a home. The box containing the cutting discs is big and takes up half a cupboard shelf alone. I’ve yet to put it through its paces properly but I made some coleslaw and got so carried away with the powerful cutting that I kept feeding the beast until the massive jug was full. A lot of coleslaw! I’m too impatient to read manuals and hope I can figure things out for myself. This was pretty intuitive although I did have to refer to the instructions when I couldn’t get it started - it puts itself into standby when left turned on at the mains but inactive for more than 30 minutes. It also has another feature that the motor won’t turn without the metal rod on the large feeder tube bring in contact with the lid. There’s a useful little card with pictures and descriptions of the different discs - really handy to keep with the discs as it might not to obvious to some. The motor is pleasingly powerful, but the dogs didn’t flinch when it whizzed into action. I get a bit lured by machines that perform many actions and then regret not focusing on what I really need rather than the useful as not many appliances can do multiple jobs all to a high standard. That did run through my mind when I started to consider this as a contender and I have to say it looks like it will do all the main jobs extremely well. The blender is big and made of heavy glass, there’s a spice/coffee bean mill, a smaller bowl that fits inside the larger one for less huge quantities. It comes with most discs they make - the only one missing is the chipper - I don’t really make chips but I’m thinking it would be a half way house to dicing veg - with me doing the final cut by hand. One to ponder. The juicer looks good. I bake only once in a blue moon so doubt the whisking and folding attachments will see much action but I may break them out on occasion. A pricey machine but I have no regrets and absolutely look forward to using it regularly. I’m very happy it’s got a 5 year warranty, that feels appropriate for this level of investment. I also saved a bit by buying an open box from a Warehouse deal - full price was £364, I paid £302 for a machine with no cosmetic faults, just it had been unpacked and repacked (I assume returned due to the size). I’m hopeful this will be my final food processor purchase!

Review: This machine is good decent size not too big or too small. It seems stronger than my old kenwood that I have for over 5 years. I would prefer it to have other attachments aswell like dicer and slicing blade that you can adjust the size. Also there was no juicer attachment. The attachments that came are of very good quality slicer/grater decorative slicer and julienile whisk and dough are decent not too strong .also a quad chopping blade would have been better for this size machine. Overall good machine!
