Review: The media could not be loaded. I have two cats, a husband, and live in a fairly small flat so theoretically this would be perfect, BUT, it’s not nearly as good as I hoped: > It’s insanely heavy! It weighs 6.2kg so lifting/moving it is difficult but it’s worse when turned on > There’s two functions and the one with the light is the only mode I struggle to push however it’s the only one I use since the other option sucks > The bottom doesn’t rotate much and isn’t as flexible as I assumed > It sits at an angle when upright > There's no way to secure attachments on the end of the extension wand so it doesn’t take long before they start rotating/twisting > The bottom cord hook is very loose whereas the top one is fine (as shown in the video I linked) ------------------------------------- On the other hand there’s quite a few things I like: > The cord is super long, hard to tangle, and feels smooth > It’s a good size, isn’t chunky, and I really like the height > I love how environmentally friendly the packaging is and the vacuum was securely packed > There’s a 2 year warranty! > So far I haven’t had anything clog the vacuum despite having: a month of uncleaned carpet, a bunch of cat fur and human hair, carpet powder, and cat litter all over the floors > The 2-in-1 tool is amazing!!! I've never used an attachment which made cleaning so easy and I can't believe the results > The instructions are clear and really easy to understand ------------------------------------- Basically: I shaved my cat (for medical reasons) and took photos before and after I used the Vax air lift 2: it did a good job on the function where the light turns on at the bottom and I’m happy with how the carpet turned out, plus the fur didn't clog the machine which is shocking considering how much there was! That function is equally great on laminated and tiled floors- it picks up cat litter and any tiny bits without any issues. Don’t get me wrong I like the Vax air lift 2 but it’s pretty average and definitely overpriced for what it offers. It holds 1.5 litres, weighs 6.2kg, and usually costs £199.99 but is currently on sale for £140.
