Review: It's a basic mouse and does the job. Not much more to say

Review: Sorry to say that this has not turned out to be a good purchase. All was good for a few months (I bought this in June), but now (October) the scroll wheel is acting up. I suspect the sensor is at fault because it seems to slow down for part of its travel or jump. Anyway, it's becoming unusable. Any recommendations for a basic wired mouse that doesn't have blinky lights or twelve buttons and isn't styled like a Meccano Batmobile? Just comfy and functional and lasts a few years at least.
