Review: Having had many of the govee branded light strips I was having a some serious issues with the light strips loosing quality and LEDs changing colour (if blue was chosen then many of the LEDs would be green or red) making it look tacky and cheap. Also very annoying!!!! I then tried the tapo LEDs and so glad I did. The colour is so much clearer and brighter. The functions via the app make having them on a timer, scheduling and being able to see the power consumption is a huge bonus. I've since replaced all 4 sets and now they are the go to lights and rarely use main lights in the 3 rooms. Quality quality quality. Would highly recommend to others. Hopefully this helps.

Review: I was very pleased with these leds when I purchased them in Jan 2022. They work well with Alexa and great on the apps schedule. I used led channel aswell so adhesion was never gonna be a problem and the diffuser lid on the channel gave a very professional looking light. The only problem is I woke up a couple of days ago and instead of being off, as per the schedule, they were glowing red. I tried to turn the off but according to the app they were off.. they worked fine when on but they would not turn off and remained on but red. This gave my bathroom what I imagine would be the look of a knocking shop. I contacted TP-LINK and after a few exchanges they announced they were faulty and I needed to contact the seller. Amazon as usual were great and refunded my purchase cost of £19.99 but unfortunately in the 11 months I've had them the cost has increased to £39.99!!! So, after much consideration re buying an off the shelf RGB led strip controller I've ordered these again. I've got to hope that the problem is only with the controller as I cannot get at the led strip easily due to where it is installed in the bathroom. Update. The LED strip was 8ndeed ok and it was the controller that had failed so let's hope I get more than 11 months operation out of my 40 quid ...
