Review: This is quite a chunky monkey, a bit bigger than I was expecting and not exactly discreet. Being honest the plastic feels a bit cheap, but it is an inexpensive device so I’m not complaining too much. Setup is nice and easy, the only issue was connecting locally to the device itself. I had to manually connect in my phone Wi-Fi settings before it would discover it but once done it was all good and fortunately I didn’t need to adjust my (Sky) router to connect at 2.4GHz which is always a faff. I like the app, nice and straight forward and the picture quality is excellent, sharp and colourful. The Alexa “skill” is not very skilful though so I won’t bother too much with that. The tiIt and pan function is excellent and although it is an inside camera it could probably be used to point outside if you are unable or unwilling to mount one externally. It comes with a 30 day free trial of cloud storage or you can buy a MicroSD card (you have to rotate the camera to find the hidden slot) for local storage but obviously bear in mind all footage would be gone if a thief took the camera. It’s more for baby/dog watching than a sophisticated surveillance system but would do a job as basic first line security with it's inbuilt alarm and could definitely offer reassurance when away from home with the ability to drop in when you feel like it. Overall it’s a very good item for the money from a trusted brand.

Review: We had issues a few hours after setup with the camera disconnecting from wifi and not being viewable on the app while out. I had to reset the device and set up from scratch again which seems to have resolved the issue however, I would be open to returning if the issue persists. Image quality is great, the talk feature comes in and handy and the motion detection although great, can be annoying with a notification on every movement. We have started to turn it to the wall at night while we’re in and moving around. Very sensitive!
