Review: Eventually worked really well but a bit confusing to set up in the first place. Joshua at TP-Link support live chat got it sorted for us. We had thought it worked as two wireless extenders, but note that the main Deco must be plugged in by Ethernet. Really good speeds now at both ends of a long house. The power line is probably responsible for that.

Review: Easy to setup like any other deco mesh system. The iOS app has been updated and looks pretty slick, however you still have to pay for the extra features. I bought this thinking it would be better than the x90 as both 5ghz bands support the 160 mhz channel. However this was not the case. I have a Virgin 500 mbps plan and could get only 300 mbps even when standing right next to the router. The range was good and the speeds were consistent. The issue was they were consistently average. I didn’t face any dropouts. Would be a good buy for around £300.
