Review: I love this pink pedestal fan made by 'TOWER'! Very easy to assemble & very powerful when on, even on number 1 on the settings 2 &3 blow you away! It's a bit noisy but you get used to it even when you are asleep! Great product & company!

Review: After waiting three weeks for this I was excited to finally be able to cool down. First was the disappointment that it was obviously second hand. The copious sellotape on the box & the broken polystyrene inside gave it away. Took forever to build and in amongst my cursing I’m assuming this is why it was sent back. It’s hard following instructions when bits of it have already bern done. Finally after much Anglo Saxon language and fighting to undo shredded screws (thanks previous owner). I had a wobbly fan ready up and stable enough to switch on. By this point I’d tightened nothing fully as my faith was low .. next disappointment was the length of plug wire. Had the fan been at full height - then the plug socket needs to actually be right next to it. So I dutifully hunted out an extension lead ( there’s goes the ascetic look I was aiming for). By now sweating enough that I needed five of these beauties not one. I plugged it in … yes it works - it blows cold air, I can’t hear the tv over it, my neighbours are probably going to file a noise complaint against me and I have a headache but I have lots of air circulating in the room. Shame most of it is blue! If I’d not spent so long building it I’d be sending ky straight back but the thought of that at the minute I just want to cry. So I’ve tightened the screws wondering if that may be the cause of the excess noise (it wasn’t) Now I know why the previous person returned this .. it’s rubbish. Oh and the tilt - don’t try that. One choice upright or facing the ceiling - it’s too heavy for the attempt at a screw to hold it in place. If you’re deaf, don’t have neighbours and have a degree in mechanical engineering then maybe this is for you … if you wanted a fan for your front room then avoid it.
