Review: We bought the grill on the 4th of February 2021. When we used it for the first time, we were initially impressed. The chicken breast was done quick and just right. The excess fat had made its way to the drip tray, and what remained on the hot plates was fairly easy to clean. Then when we lifted the grill to put it away in the cupboard, we noticed that a sticker had come off from the bottom, which was covering a screw. Not thinking much of it, we simply replaced the sticker and it hasn't come off since. But as we started using it more often - roughly 1 to 2 times a week - we noticed that the paint on the top cover started to bubble. At first it was just at the back and so not immediately noticeable. But that spot grew larger each time we used it, and other spots have started to appear. Now there's bubbled paint on all but the right hand side of the top cover. I have submitted a request for repairs under warranty to Tefal via their website, however other than an auto-reply that they have received my request, I have yet to hear back from them - that was a week ago now. It is very disappointing, to say the least. We have other (non-electrical) Tefal products that are of good quality, and had therefore assumed that we purchased a grill that would have easily lasted a few years. Alas, it did not even make it to half a year with light use.
