Review: Don't expect miracles...it's simply a single fan within a plastic grill, but it works! If you are using applications that are making your processor work really hard and as a result the laptop is getting really hot…then look elsewhere for a cooling pad with multiple fans. Having said that, it’s adequate for most users and will at the very least keep your laptop at a healthy temperature, if not quite cool. For the price, it’s a good piece of kit from a well known brand, that assists the laptop, along with it’s own internal fan to protect it from over heating. I for one, are a fan!

Review: Revised 2* review after problems (I've left the text from the original positive review below): After a few weeks of use I'd become aware that the tray isn't flat when on a table or other solid surface - it rocks. Having turned it over, one of the rubber feet is missing. I tried the others to see if they are firmly retained and they just fall out and then will never stay in again. This will progressively happen if you just push the tray back on a flat surface. I have no idea where the missing foot has gone so I'm returning the tray to Amazon for replacement - the new one will get all 4 feet glued in properly and then they'll never come out again - ever. Be aware. Original review (5*): Does the job. Has a single fan in the centre, blowing straight up. A good flow of air, but it pulls in from centre of the base, so if you set it down on a cushion or sofa then the air stops - but the laptop is still sitting on a flat surface, so it can draw fresh in around the edges. If you are using this on your knee, it still works - but in reality, if you don't have an overheating problem with your laptop then don't bother plugging in the USB. It works as a tray, without the need to plug it in, allowing air to circulate under the laptop. If you do have over-heating problems with your laptop, this (or any other laptop cooler for that matter) isn't going to help - you'll need to get the top of the laptop and get the muck out, or get your local back-street computer shop to do that for you.. The one thing it is missing is to have the connector recessed and to have inset cable runs underneath to prevent the USB lead hanging out everywhere.
