Review: Was very impressed with this Swan Espresso coffee maker. Have had a few different brands in the past and this one works really well. Love the water reservoir at the back. Cleverly designed so its easy to take off and refill. We chose the blue colour and it looks great. Don't really use the frother but I'm sure it would be fine. Only slight issue is the heat of the water making the coffee. I just warm the cups up first so not a big issue. Highly recommend, for just under £80 as at January 2023.

Review: I was super excited for this product as I got it as a Christmas present. Unfortunately, I had prepped everything ready to make a coffee and began to try it out but the "ON" button suddenly stopped working and wouldn't let me press it down meaning if I wanted to make a coffee I would have to hold it down with one hand and make a coffee with the other which is quite impossible. So unfortunately, I had to send this item back. However, I do think its an affordable product compared to many coffee machines out there, and the espresso is decent although you do have to manually stop it so you just watch until you think theres enough espresso. The weight of it is quite light if I can remember but its quite small and so not much room for a mug for the espresso to fall into and its hard to fit the milk jug underneath aswell to froth the milk. It's also not the most professional machine, the milk frother can only really make super frothy milk and it's hard to get the consistency of latte milk etc.. if you're looking to do latte art. It also tends to spurt about when it begins to froth and aswell it takes a while to be ready to froth (there is heating time). The steam wand is also quite short, so it's hard to hold the milk jug and ensure its is deep enough into the milk. I would say if you're looking for a more professional machine, this isn't the one. However, if you fancy an affordable machine to make a frothy coffee in the morning then this may be right for you (providing it doesn't break). It does froth up the milk so if you're into super frothy milk on top of your coffee its good for that (would need to purchase a milk jug separately though). Although there are some positives, it comes with an easy to read manual book of how to set up the machine and how to use which is super helpful and it's easy to clean, also comes with a tamper, coffee scoop and different sized espresso filters. Although the tamper is made of plastic so it's quite flimsy and not as sturdy as a metal one. So overall, this product was okay, there were definitely aspects I would improve if I could but its alright if you just want to use it to make a coffee rather than practice latte art etc... If you're unsure I would maybe look somewhere else as other reviews have mentioned it breaking etc.. so I am not sure how reliable the product is. Obviously its not a highly expensive professional machine so I can't expect it to be faultless and perform like one, as long as you're aware of this and are happy with this kind of machine than it may be right for you. But the return was easy so I'll give it that! :)
