Review: This is a rare KVM that maintains a keyboard and mouse connection to both PCs, rather than physically reconnects and disconnects each time. This makes the switching considerably faster. The DDM ports are on the back... I initially plugged my keyboard and mouse into the front which worked like a normal KVM. So, make sure you use to back DDM ports for your keyboard and mouse, otherwise, this is no better than a cheap KVM.

Review: bought the fast switch unit, was not fast at all switching to a dell win7, machine had to redetect monitor each time took like 10 seconds. also the hotkey change over didnt work, and using a razr black window, the macro keys no longer worked. I was no better off than a $20 unit except I was out another $150 ! returned..
