Review: I had a TV given to me which I was using in the lounge (32inches, not a Smart one and it had a big red line down the righthand side). I decided to utilise the pre Black Friday discount a plump for this TV as it was a good make and a good price. At 50 inches it’s a lot bigger than my previous TV, but nicely fits my lounge. The picture quality is brilliant and the Smart functions are easy and quick to use (as was the initial set up). I’d definitely buy this TV again if I was to go back a few weeks in time. Even the kids (some adult, one child) have been spending more time in the lounge, which is a plus.

Review: Bought this to replace my 13 year old Tesco own brand TV which had all kinds of boxes attached to get the tv smart. Seduced by Black Friday and great reviews bought the Sony Bravia. Old set to the tip. What a mistake! Set was easy to install and, by chance The World Cup started. What a disappointment. Close up shots good, a little sharper then the cheap set it replaced. Then when wider views were shown it looked as if the players were playing in multicoloured mist. No amount of balance, re-setting tone etc helped. Then watching any scene with dark areas these are pitch black with no definition. Again fine running does nothing to help. Overall I wish we had saved our money and stayed with our steam driven Tesco tv. Pros: great sound quality. Easy to install easy to use switching from multiple channels. Cons: Poor picture quality, terrible definition, poor exposure. Overall if you are considering buying a Bravia-DON’T
