Review: I have recently needed to record sounds from microphones and other sources. This is new for me, and I wanted something that would be simple to use while giving good results. The Shure MVI meets both those criteria. I needed to buy an XLR cable, but otherwise the Mvi is "plug and play" and I was able to use it within minutes. The unit is very solid with a metal case. It has presets for different recordings that are easy to select. I am not a recording specialist, but the MVI lets me achieve everything I want at what I consider good quality sound.

Review: Does not come with micro USB to Lighting cable as stated in the description so cannot link to my ipad straight out of the box. Have had to order another cable to be able to use it. Extra expense & very annoying. After receiving the cable I can confirm that it is a very good interface. But i'm not going to increase the stars as the description shouldn't say the lightning cable is included.
