Review: install it and it works straight away . not like the compatible cheaper cartridges which chips are not reconised by the printer. more expensive but worth the money

Review: Yellow toner cartridge was installed in my CLX-4195FW All-in-One (printer, scanner, copier and faxer) on 24/05/2015 and started to contaminate documents in August. The yellow toner contamination was intermittent but since the end of September printed document contamination has become permanent. Having contacted Samsung by e-mail on 07/10/2015 and having sent them reminders, there has been no positive response. When I contacted them by telephone on 27/10/2015 having sent them copies of the contamination the blame was attributed to the yellow toner cartridge that is only guaranteed for 6 months from the date of the invoice and NOT the date of installation. The proposed solution is to replace the toner cartridge that is still 92% full. Not a very satisfactory solution to the problem considering that original Samsung toner cartridges retail for around £50! N.B. The yellow toner contamination problem first manifested itself on the expiring original cartridge and with a brief respite has come back with a vengeance following the installation of the new Samsung cartridge. I AM LEFT IN LIMBO! as I cannot return the faulty cartridge to Amazon for a replacement. You may be luckier buying a compatible cartridge!
