Review: This is a brilliant vacuum. I really love Salter, to be honest - a British company that's been around since the 1700s, so I'm predisposed to thinking lovely thoughts about them but, honestly, I've never had something from Salter that wasn't excellent. And so this vacuum. It's lightweight; it's extremely unobtrusive, and it's easy to use. It all snaps together in a few pieces (including the internal HEPA filter, which is one of my few minor complaints) and comes with accessories to mean you can pretty much vacuum your entire house comfortably. So in the photos you can see it standing upright, and here it functions as a standard vacuum; but it also comes with a flexible hose which you can insert into the tank instead, at which point it becomes a hand-held vacuum and allows you to get into nooks and crannies. It's easily the most versatile vacuum we've ever used, and it has excellent suction and works on both carpets and tiles/hardwood floors, so it'll work for pretty much any surface. The only little complaints I have are that, 1) while it's rechargeable (brilliant, means you don't need to be plugged into the wall while you work) the battery only lasts for about 45 minutes, and that's on the lower setting. If you go to the higher setting, the battery drains even quicker. That's not really enough time to do a thorough vacuum, especially if you need it on the high settings. And then there's the HEPA filter. It needs to be cleaned and washed fairly regularly, which makes it feel like a bit of a faff. It's easy to take it out and it's easy to put back in, but having to wash it and leave it to dry for a day or so (you can't put it back in until it's 100% fully dried) is a bit annoying. So there you have it. It's small, versatile, and it works a treat, so I can't recommend it more highly, really.

Review: Load of design issues. Better to get a Dyson or Henry for at least 10 times more suction power. Without the motor head, just small dust can get in but not small chips(around 3mm x 3mm). With the motor head, all those chips can rack it into its tube but not inside the vacuum dust container. So when you pull it up, all those chips fall back to the motor head and shoot them out in high speed! Terrible! Then I test it to clean just small dust, less than 1/50 of its container is dust and lost all its suction, just like a handful of dust and that’s. And again, once you use its motor head, all those dust just accumulated at its tube instead of the vacuum dust container. When you pull it up, all those dust just fall down to the motor head and shoot it out, making everywhere with those dust. Honestly, avoid at all cost. It’s not doing its job at all. Not recommended.
