Review: I decided to go ahead and purchase this item despite negative reviews on size and visibility as salter is a good brand and I don't know what people are using this for however if weighing human beings this is the perfect tool. The size is a normal weighing scale and at 5ft 3ins I can stand on it without issue and can look straight down and read the weight in kgs / stone / lbs without any problem. On that basis alone the weighing scales for weighing humans does just that perfectly well. I have the white one and sits nicely in the bathroom. If you are looking for it to do something else then perhaps it is something else you need. Weighing scales recommended. A good buy.

Review: As I have small feet, this scale is big enough for me. I like the cushioned top. But it weighs me approx. 3 and a half pounds less than my other scale, and that other scale tallies with the doctor's scale. But the real problem for me is that I thought the magnification of the read-out would be much larger. I recently have had problems seeing the read-out on my existing, good, mechanical scale (Krupps brand) and I only bought this one as I thought I would be able to see it much more easily, but it's not the case as it doesn't magnify enough and the read-out looks squashed. I'm not keen on digital scales that need batteries.
