Review: This was bought because after just a year (just outside of guarantee) the lid mechanism failed on my £90 kettle, which was also supposedly quiet boil. When looking for a replacement, I wanted good guarantee (this has 3 years when registered), good capacity ( this is 1.7lt), and reduced noise element and I am pleased to say that it really is quieter than all the kettles I have previously used. I hope it is more robust than my last kettle, it is reassuring that it has a 3 year guarantee, so time will tell, but feeling hopeful!

Review: We've had this kettle for 2 years now. Although it boils water fine, it seems to have suddenly become extremely loud despite the 'Quiet Boil Technology' and keeping it clean/descaled. Also, because it's metal the outside gets very hot and it's easy to brush your fingers against it when pouring. Summary: it looks nice and boils well but ultimately it's overpriced and noisy.
