Review: Having been a fan of GHD for years, I could never envisage switching brands. However these came up as a lightning deal, and caught my attention. The price was amazing and after reading all the positive reviews I decided to try them out. Am SO glad I did. The temperature control is fantastic. As I have naturally straight, bleached hair, my GHDs were always burning it and even though I was using them just for smoothing the ends, it still wasn't doing me any favours. Now I set the Remington's to 160, and they glide beautifully over the ends, no singeing, no crackling burning sounds! No smoke! Just smooth, sleek and very shiny hair. Just love them. An amazing purchase. My hairdresser told me my hair has never looked this good.

Review: Being a novice to straighteners, I burnt my finger as instantly as putting them on. Lesson learnt! These heat up really fast. I put them on 190. Not sure if that would damage my hair. Gave me the effect I was trying to achieve but just need to get more practiced and be careful in how I hold them while doing the back of the hair.
