Review: The feeling/sound of the keys when typing is perfect, and leagues above any other keyboard I've owned! It seems well made, I love how you can customise it to your liking with loads of different effects (though I just keep it on solid red to match with my PC!). The coating on the keys doesn't feel like it will rub off quickly which seemed to be an issue with previous Razer keyboards. The only negative I can say about it is the fact you have to have the Razer program open for your settings to stick, if you close it then it reverts back to "default settings"... but to be honest it's not really an issue for me to keep it running. The wrist rest is a nice touch, though personally I don't use it!

Review: I have bought quite a few cheap no-brand gaming keyboards for home. At work they provide Dell or Microsoft branded kit. With working from home I wanted one keyboard for both, so I thought upgrade to a branded gaming keyboard? Arrives in a nice box and the physical item feels pretty decent, the detachable wrist rest with the magnetic clip is actually good, soft and comfy. It also looks good unlike those gel ones that go manky in a few months. The whole keyboard looks decent even without lighting. Keyboard is OK to type on probably slightly better than my budget one, but honestly not as good as the Microsoft ergonomic ones, or the Cherry ones actually. Ergonomically its good and I've had no issues Lighting is good, although not overly bright, customising it using the Razer software is actually pretty good and frankly a lot of fun. If you bought this mainly for the pretty FX or to hand craft each key, you're in a for treat. However, the software suite is fairly bloated and has the odd glitch. One time when plugging the keyboard in, the driver dialog actually appeared in front of my Windows LOCK SCREEN! I have NEVER seen that happen before. Most annoying thing is it sometimes needs to be re-plugged in to be recognised in Windows, particularly if waking from sleep. Its also the only peripheral that misbehaves with my usb kvm switcher. You can frequently find yourself with no lighting and if like me your touch typing is not as good as you thought...Very hard to read the keys without the lights! I also got this working easily on Ubuntu with OpenRGB and OpenRazer, less bloated but not quite as configurable. I got this keyboard at the same time as a new case and fans and decided to go full RGB bling and make my office look like a tacky seaside resort - I partially regret it, but I discovered most manufacturers RGB software is bloated, is rarely compatible with all other brands so syncing it all can be difficult. Overall the utilities eats resources on a system you probably want to optimize for gaming. So I am not sure if Razer is any worse than other brands here? I bought this on sale at a decent discount, but I am still a bit disappointed with my first Razer branded item. Overall its not quite bad enough to send back but I wouldn't pay full price.
