Review: The first and most surprising thing about this cordless screwdriver is that it arrives without any accompanying instructions. For anyone who has had similar tools in the past it is not difficult to work out what does what, but to not even have rudimentary instructions is unusual, disappointing and even potentially dangerous. The pack includes a basic selection of bits for cross-slot and conventional slotted screw heads. There are three drive positions: Screw in; Neutral; Unscrew. There is a light at the business end of the driver when the trigger is activated. * This particular screwdriver supposedly offers better protection against the transmission of bacteria. This strikes me as a piece of opportunistic marketing resulting from the pandemic and I am not really sure how many people will be buying this product on that basis alone. * I find that the driver works better with cross-head screws that it does with plain slots, where it is more likely to slide or kick out of the groove. * The torque is not adjustable, which isn't ideal. * The handle is comfortable to hold, but this design does mean that it is always easy, or even possible, to use this for all applications if the screw head isn't in a position that is easy to access. * It doesn't cope well with screws that need to be driven into more resistant surfaces, nor does it perform well if you need to unscrew a screw that is quite tight. This won't be suitable for all applications, but if you have a number of screws to insert in simple, straightforward situations then it will be a bit of a labour saver - and handier than having to get the full-size drill out the tool shed.
