Review: It's not often I'm astounded by a product but on this occasion I really am. Let's start with it's size. When my wife and I started looking at purchasing an Air Fryer we initially began looking at smaller ones because there's only the two of us to cook for so we didn't see the point of getting a larger one. And almost consistently in the product descriptions it was stated for two people the smaller versions were more than adequate. Well we would seriously disagree with that assumption. Yes they may be ok, if for example you're just wanting to cook two portions of something like chips at the same time. But anything more we can't see how they can be described that way. So we started looking at the bigger ones and we're so glad we did. The PowerXL Vortex Air Fryer is 9.5 litre capacity which is excellent to cook an entire meal for two people in. It can't be denied the actual size of the Fryer as it stands on the kitchen unit is quite big but not overly so. It has easy to understand instructions and even easier to work touch controls. Whilst speaking of size, like all the descriptions of various Air Fryers the Power XL boasts about being able to cook a whole chicken in it. Well that's true and it does exactly that, but it must be said it wouldn't be a large or extra large chicken on the rotisserie but a medium size does fit perfectly. However not to be out done and just to test it I did buy an extra large chicken and spatchcocked it and it did just about fit but it filled the fryer and you couldn't fit anything else in. It cooks food perfectly and at a fraction of the price it takes to use the gas oven. The pictures above show a 750g pork loin joint on the rotisserie and underneath roast potatoes. Twenty five minutes and both the joint and the roasties were cooked to perfection. Two Sirloin steaks 10 minutes perfect. Lamb and mint Kababs and stir fry vegetables 15 minutes again perfect. Even a boiled egg with a lovely runny center 5 mins. Cheese on toast 7 mins Sweet potato wedges 10 mins I could go on and on and on not least because useing the Air Fryer is almost without exception the way we cook now. And if all that isn't enough it uses very little fat/oil which is healthier and almost no energy at all. We have a smart meter and cooking the two steaks cost four pence. Beat that! It's also incredibly easy to clean win win. It does like many things takes a little getting used to but if I can work it anyone can. Both my wife and I would seriously recommend an Air Fryer to anyone. And for us the Power XL
