Review: Having used this with a previous role, my employer tried to offer a wired example and I chose to buy this for a second time. It has a great range, you do look strange wearing it to the shop but you can comfortably do around 100m away from the base as described by the company. The battery life is great and it makes a real difference to typing. It does take some playing around to get the set up right, sometimes you end up on the wrong channel when setting it up and also you can get an echo but you can solve that by changing the volume of the mic and the speaker. Set up takes around 5 mins if it's not your first time but for those who haven't set one up it could take 20 or so minutes as depending on your phone system the instructions don't always get it set up perfectly. I think my criticism is actually there are features which aren't clear to set up but it's worth buying over most others due to the good sound quality for both you and the person at the other end of the phone. I'm using mine with a MITEL system but it works with many others and Plantronics do have a good website which shows your all of the compatibility.

Review: I've always had good things to say about Plantronics, until now. I've had this headset for 6 months and have had a significant number of issues with it. It is a DECT headset so range should be good. There have been times when, sat at the desk, the signal is breaking up. Now, after 6 months it's stopped charging and I saw that the pins in the top (the power connector) are bending after repeated placing of the headset on the base. They can be bent back, but Plantronics obviously know about this problem as there is guidance to "bend them back" on their website. It's obviously a poor design so I'm afraid it'll have to go back as faulty.
