Review: Our family were great fans of the previous incarnation of this product. Several of us had one or more. All in our house were tuned to the same presets to use in and around the home or take away. We use rechargeable batteries. This version improves on the previous with a better (colour & more informative) display, Bluetooth streaming (is great), and more presets. A handy little radio with good sound quality for such a small device. Audio output to a pillow speaker is much used by me. Lock switch on the back means it can be packed away without worry that it will switch on and run out of power in transit. DAB plus FM means that it is useable throughout the UK. Some of the previous version suffered faults; fading LCD display, failing DBS reception. I hope this new version will be more reliable. I've invested in two for myself to make sure one is always available - I would hate to be without it! Suggestions for design enhancement: sleep timer, fading rather than abrupt; is it possible to automatically select between alkaline and rechargeable batteries?

Review: The only disappointment was the lack of a small remote control. Being disabled this weould have been helpful. Sound quality not brilliant - just OK. Tone control went out the window when digital broadcasting came in - equaliser still falls short of prviding the quality of tone I like This radio has a good quality feel to it.
