Review: I use this light for my room and its great! It is very bright if you don't use a light shade - so its always recommended if you use a light shade if you want it in your room. Normally this light would be used in a open space but a room is fine as well with the right conditions.

Review: *Update - Of the 2 i have, one has died after 2 years and the other is going strong after 1 year - not delivering on the promise of long life LED* Love the Hue ecosystem, albeit it is getting pricey now. The drawback of the older generations of Hue bulbs was that they we not that bright toping out at an equivalence of 60W. This bulb fixes that problem, as it's rated at 100W but it's grown as a result to accommodate. It's a fair bit longer, and as such one of the lamp shades that we had planned to use it with had to be retired. Works seamlessly with the Hue app and Alexa.
