Review: I recently purchased the NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System AX4200 and I am absolutely blown away by its performance! The setup was a breeze and the app makes it incredibly easy to manage the network. I have a large home and in the past, I struggled with weak or nonexistent WiFi signals in certain rooms. That is no longer an issue since installing this system. I now have a fast, stable, and consistent connection throughout my entire home. The AX4200 also provides incredibly fast speeds, making it perfect for demanding activities like gaming, streaming 4K video, and working from home. I was also pleasantly surprised by its ability to handle multiple devices without any lag or buffering. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend the NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System AX4200 to anyone in need of a top-of-the-line WiFi solution. It is a game changer!

Review: I'm not sure how netgear have managed it, but so many reviews for their mesh system are 5 star, best ever system etc. and as someone who's had these for over a year, they simply aren't good enough. Right now I'm sat 3 feet away from the main router, in my office. Please have a look at the image I've attached showing the scan from the Orbi App. 64% signal from 3 feet away, this drops to 37% when I move the phone to 5 feet away. This is a constant issue with the Orbi system and should you choose to raise a support case, well good luck is all I'll say. Unless you are paying for the top tier support you'll get pushed to Expert Users. Now let talk about the App because this is your interface into everything and it's rubbish. You risk everything doing firmware upgrades there the App, in fact you risk everything doing firmware upgrades no matter what and the entire Orbi community advices everyone not to do updates unless they are having issues already. Please take a look at the second image I've shared. Some key points of interest here. 1. I don't own a Amazon Fire TV stick and never have, this is a rouge device and when I click on it the orbi app crashes. 2. The Eufy Homebase isn't plugged in, I've moved house and I've not set it up yetit has one bar of signal in the App. 3. TP-Link KP303 is the same as the Eufy, not setup yet, showing as 1 bar. These are just a couple of the examples of the issues with the App. You're left with little to no control over the network and the devices attached to it. My PS5 which is connected via an ethernet cable is showing as wireless, I know it isn't. When I moved house, to get the orbi to work I had to factory reset the whole system, I did a clean install of the App and it's still an absolute mess as you can see with devices showing as connected that aren't and there is no fix for this, it's a known issues and has been for years! You'll also see I can't get a good signal to my google TV in my front room, it is 25 feet away from the main hub and 15 feet away from a satellite, with a 2 brick walls in one direction and 1 brick wall in the other and there is little to no signal. This is what mesh is meant to stop. Now this could just be setup, but I've been doing this stuff for a few year now, so I know a enough to get by, but there is zero help from the Orbi setup on placement of satellites or the hub. You are basically on your own. Please don't buy this system, shop around a little more, don't believe review sites where they have affiliate links and prices, they are only interested in making money, not giving a balanced review. I've lived with these things for 18 months and they are not worth the money.
