Review: I needed a one-ear headset because I can't have both ears covered when I'm talking, it super bugs me, I wanted something over-the-ear because on-ear and ear buds are both painful to me, and I needed USB. This does tick all those boxes, but it has some downsides. First is that the mic isn't reversible. You can only wear this on your left ear, because the microphone won't turn very far. I typically like to wear a headset on my right ear because my office door is to my left and so that's the direction I'd want to hear things from outside of the headset. Not a dealbreaker, but I thought it was worth noting. It does have a radial, analog volume control. I actually don't hate that because digital ones tend to be finicky. No in-line mute button (not a biggie for me, personally). The audio quality isn't amazing, it's pretty tinny with little bass, but for voice it should more than suffice. I haven't had any complaints about the microphone quality so far. I'm gonna keep it but am pretty disappointed that it can only be used on one side. I've honestly never owned a headset that didn't allow you to rotate the boom mic to the opposite side, honestly, so that seems like a very strange oversight. I thought that was a standard thing.
