Review: This is actually a replacement for an old keyboard purchased way back in 2013, that was missing a few letters and symbols. With yet others fading away. The fact that there is a lack of wires connected to the keyboard and the mouse, is in my opinion a very good thing. I also like the ergonomic features provided for the keyboard in particular. As to the low rating for gaming and sleep mode. I prefer to play games on my PS4, not my PC. I've never seen the need to use sleep mode either. When not in use my PC is always shut down.

Review: I bought this set with one aim in mind. I wanted to play games using a screen across the room from my laptop. Thus I needed it to connect to the Unifying receiver from 8ft away. It connected OK but not if I got my body in the way! For this reason I had the dubious pleasure of trying to sit to one side of the screen to allow direct sight to the receiver. I understand that my use case it a little unusual so will now go on to describe the kit for ordinary users. The keyboard is fine and feels nice to use. The mouse if fairly dodgy, being too light and plasticky. My day to day mouse is a G9 Laser mouse which has weights inside, hence the poor comparison. The G9 is a wired mouse, though, hence the need for a replacement. I have solved my problem by buying a Bluetooth set as a replacement. The Bluetooth can see through me quite adequately!
