Review: So this was bought mainly for ETS 2 and works ok to an extent for that, problem is that trying to remember everything you have mapped is quite difficult then some of the switches look like rocker switches but theyre not. The Joystick is novel as it has 2 different options at the touch of a button on the top of it, but feels very flimsy like it would break if you pulled on it to hard. I've not managed to use it on Farm Sim yet as i can't figure out how to use my Wheel and this box in conjunction with each other same goes for Snow Runner as it's not quite obvious how its done. Also i'd love to use the Joystick as a Brake Bias adjuster in ACC but ACC only recognises the buttons and not the joystick. All in all its quite expensive for a plastic box with some buttons on it....

Review: I am a new fan of Farming Simulator, and with FS19 I started using my wheel and pedals a lot more and I heard about this, and with the crazy amount of buttons that FS19 needed to get even the basic tasks done, I thought yeah, this is a good idea. FS19 detected this, and mapped the buttons for me.. however I really didn't have a clue what button was what function. So I was clueless to what I was doing. And trying to map the buttons was an even more bigger headache, if you are going to use this, you might need to create some sort of overlay you can put over the buttons (lables basically) that will help you see what button does what. You see the problem is.. The buttons are labled 1 to 27, but the OS and even games, read it from 0-26 sure its easy to understand that 0 = 1 and 26 = 27, yeah fine.. but then you actually see the way the buttons are laid on the panel. You have 6 purple buttons on the top left in a 3x2 formation, you have 4 orange buttons next to that in a 2x2 These are labled like so: Purple 1 | Purple 2 | Purple 3 | Orange 4 | Orange 5 Purple 6 | Purple 7 | Purple 8 | Orange 9 | Orange 10 I don't know why but I thought the buttons may have been mapped on a "per colour" basis? So the purples would have been button 1 - 6, orange would have been 7-10 which when you are mapping would help you remember which one is which. I may just be petty here and its a small quibble, until you get to the next block of numbers below the purples are 6 yellow buttons these are lablled like so: Yellow 11 | Yellow 13 | Yellow 15 Yellow 12 | Yellow 14 | Yellow 16 So they decided rather than keep the left to right numbering to now go up and down, so again when I am looking at the button mapping and I see say Button 12, I automatically think based on the other buttons that it is the top middle of the yellow section.. but it isn't thats 13 gets even weirder when you see to the right of those buttons are what looks like switches.. but aren't they are just buttons , and this time they have decided to go back to the left to right method.. Blue 17 | Blue 18 Green 19 | Green 20 Ok again these are just small petty things that I am sure can be worked around, because once you got it set it will eventually become muscle memory anyway fair play... But then we have buttons 22, 23 and 24 that are on the right hand side.. and well its a dial that kinda mimicks a HAT switch I think, which has 26 and 27 on the left hand side with I believe 25 being the "click in" of this dial... You then have a joystick with 2 buttons on top, one is a mode switch that allows you to use the joystick as either camera control or control of an arm or something.. fair play. Basically a lot of buttons.. but its more overwhelming and I actually ended up using keyboard and mouse for FS22 because it is actually easier for me to remember shift+G+T and mouse to uncouple a peice of equipment than try to remember what button is is on this box (btw thats not the actual keyboard combination and has been over exagerated for this review) Then we get to the build quality. This isn't cheap. Its still over £100 at time I review this (March 2022) yet it feels cheap, The buttons feel like they will break the first moment anything may get stuck in them (you know if you have kids its bound to happen) and it just feels cheap and plastic, and all it really is.. is a load of buttons... in a box, which is why I commonly just refer as my "button box" That all being said... I have found most use of it.. playing Euro Truck Sim 2 / American Truck Sim, which I play in VR and its a little easier to press a couple of buttons on this box to control some basic things in the game. I wouldn't be able to tell if I was really pressing button 1 or 3 or evem maybe 6 if I was in VR, which is why I have mapped about 3 buttons to 1 thing to make sure I at least can get one of them, not very useful but it beats reaching in the dark over my steering to my keyboard, although I am able to locate the keyboard button a lot easier due to touch typing and being able to find where the correct key is just by touch. this button box most of the buttons feel the same, there is no way to find out if you are in the "purple" or "orange" section of the button box, and again if you mapped say button 12 to something, and you start counting left to right top to bottom, you will actually end up pressing button 13. So you mean to put your wipers on maybe.. but end up detatching your trailer instead. Bus Simulator 2020 is another game I have got some use out of this. but then I am trying to make use out of this purchase so it didn't seem like I wasted my money, when in reality for me at least I have... Some may get some use out of this, and these little quibbles are personal, they are my own thoughts they may only ever bother me and thats fine you might like it, but just ask yourself are you really going to get your moneys worth with this peice of plastic or can you make do without.
