Review: Does what it should - although the online information is a bit confusing. This item can be daisy-chained with other Lindy cables up to 56m but also used on it's own as an active 8m USB extension. Good build quality, great delivery time. Supplied with universal electronic power supply (only needed if your devices need more juice). Not the first time (nor the last) that I've used these and they work brilliantly.

Review: Nachdem andere Möglichkeiten nicht in Betracht kamen (USB-WLAN-Stick funktioniert technisch nicht), erfüllt diese 8 m lange aktive Verlängerung ihren oben genannten Zweck. Erstaunlich, da die spec für USB ja nur 5 m vorsieht (ist ein reales technisches Problem: Signaldauer ist sonst zu lang und Übermittlung wird abgebrochen). War skeptisch, da es heisst "immer erst die Verlängerung direkt am Computer anschliessen". Es kann aber offenbar auch die kleine WD TV Box sein, hat genügend Watt-Leistung. Die Anbindung an die Festplatte erfolgt zudem übrigens über einen der kleinen USB Stecker (Typ B glaube ich). Gutes Produkt um meine slideshows und meine recht bandbreitenstarke Hero2 Filme zu gucken.
