Review: This isn't the first LG direct drive washing machine I have bought - our previous one is about ten years old and is still going strong. I put this machine into an open plan rental where a quiet wash and spin is important. This machine has some useful faster programs, a big drum, and can wash & spin 8kg - enough for all the linen off a king sized bed, for example. There is only one annoyance - it is easy to lean over the machine and accidentally operate the on/off touch pad. It plays a little tune so that you know you have done it, but switching off the machine in the middle of a wash is annoying. Apart form that, happy - so I bought two more, although not from here because they went out of stock and then up in price.
