Review: I am always satisfied with LEDVANCE smart lamps as they deliver convenient value and quality. Straight out of the box I mounted this in the corridor and it started blinking fast. As I have experience with LEDVANCE I understood that the lamp is in pairing mode so I opened the app and searched for it. Once detected I connected this to the app, and in turn it got connected and identified automatically by Alexa since LEDVANCE app is already linked to my smart speaker. The lamp provides various brightness modes and colour profiles. You can control this via the app or through Alexa. The range of colours is versatile and the levels of brightness range from extremely dim to very bright. Now I can change my corridor light to blue red pink or any colour within the range, pretty handy. So far so good, 5 stars.

Review: I don't like that I have to share my Wifi password with the cloud based app. I have never had to do this for any other smart apps. Usually I am able to scan a QR code or connect over WLAN. I hope they enable safer a connection protocol in the near future, as i prefer to take every precaution in our family with young children. 3 stars
